I create thought leadership content for science practitioners, including academics, medical professionals, and research institutions. This approach helps amplify your reach, awareness, and adds a certain amount of 'coolness' to your work.
I believe that the key to good communication is a strong emotional core, which is essential in science communication as well! For example, the large hadron collider (LHC) has been discovering some incredible phenomena by smashing protons together. But why would the average Jane or Joe care? Because it transforms our understanding of the universe and ourselves. Even though physicists may cringe at the term 'God Particle,' it gave the Higgs Boson a relatable persona, humanizing something unimaginably small and abstract, making it memorable. That’s the power of words; I can craft research-backed content strategies that make people care about science.
Additionally, with over nine years of experience in research and thirty-four years as a nerd, I also support production houses with their research needs.

Here's how I see it:
Science is wild, scary, and important.
People are overwhelmed by complexity, misled by misinformation, and disconnected from the real-life implications of scientific progress. Yet, the lack of scientific temperament isn't going to help us make good choices as a society.
Science communication faces the same problem as traditional brand communication, but needs a different solution
I believe misinformation exists because people are exhausted, and not necessarily because they are gullible. Tired brains skip nuance. Complex ideas lose out to catchy headlines. If we want to rebuild trust in science, we have to meet people where they are; we must speak the same language as a tired parent, an overworked student, a burnt-out professional scrolling at midnight. Yet, we can't lose the nuance and a sense of thoughtful uncertainty. I can help find that sweet spot!
Asking dumb questions is my superpower.
I help people make sense of complex stuff, across sectors, formats, and audiences. Over the past 9+ years, I’ve written white papers for governments, crafted content strategies and built dashboards for think tanks, scripted dialogues for web series, designed comics, and built science-backed narratives on AI, climate, mobility, and mental health. I found it easy to be a versatile learner because I'm not scared of asking dumb questions. Perhaps the difference between "I get it" and "omg! that's too much science for me" is a dumb question answered empathetically.
"I had approached multiple marketing agencies for my mental health organisation. I often found that it was difficult for them to be nuanced and lacked passion about the topic, which translated to poor work quality. When I met Jagriti, right from the get-go, she was buzzing with ideas. She is nuanced, able to see a concept from multiple angles, and write beautifully. She understood what the brand stood for and helped in translating that vision into reality, all while implementing a research-backed content strategy. Not only that, she brings in remarkable flexibility, openness to change, and a good work ethic, which makes working with her enjoyable and rewarding."

"I engaged Jagriti for media research and content strategy for my brand, Hoi Polloi. I found that she is not afraid of unfamiliar topics. With no background in fashion, she jumped in anyway and helped shape our communications strategy from the ground up. Her input was key in defining our brand tone and laying the foundation for our messaging."
